Next up are the soundboards which are known to be able to convert the vibrations of keys into audible sounds emitted by the piano. A material called spruce is used to make this board which is rounded off to facilitate the maximum projection of sound. Richer, smoother and infinitive sounds are therefore created because the foundational materials are unique and beautifully assembled.
The bridges and strings used for grand pianos are also as grand as it is itself. A Steinway piano employs the work of an estimated 264 strings. These are then glued and assembled with professionalism and extreme skill since these strings are what will be hit to make the sounds used to entice the audience of extreme measures. A few extra measures are taken to make sure the quality of this grand piano exceed any other that is made in the world.
